What We Do
Wi-Fi
We are experts at Wi-Fi and specialize in high-density, public networks, utilizing the latest in cloud-managed, AI-enhanced Wi-Fi network access points and controllers to provide top-tier, fast Internet connectivity. We are hardware neutral and select the best equipment for the job, all supporting Wi-Fi 6, 6E, and 7. We provide ongoing Managed Wi-Fi Service or temporary Wi-Fi for events. Our work across various industries—including hospitality, healthcare, and commercial real estate—has given us valuable insights and proven results.
For instance, SLICE was instrumental in the transformation of Philadelphia International Airport’s wireless infrastructure, upgrading their systems to utilize cutting-edge C-band and 5G technologies. Similarly, our managed services at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport demonstrate our proficiency in this arena.
Managed Wireless Infrastructure & Cost Recovery
WiSNET is a patented service offering that turns a revenue-dormant wireless network into an alive, highly active unified smart gateway engineered to generate and extract revenue through captive portals, tracking and targeting ads, and uplink control (pay tier services), among other built-in platform functions—all controlled by a single central policy engine.
This allows the network manager to “slice” up the bandwidth, controlling access to both wired and wireless networks with per-user, per-group, or per-network traffic shaping and dynamic VLAN assignment, providing maximum security and auditing. Not only can you slice bandwidth into multiple networks, but you can do so down to the individual device to further offer enhanced experiences and limit data breaches at the user level with WiSNET.
With this technology, SLICE is able to quickly enable an enhanced response capability to deliver individual and customized, feature-rich control within a branded portal with advanced data, revenue generation, and location tracking.
Edge Computing
Defined: Edge computing is a distributed computing model that brings enterprise applications closer to data sources such as IoT devices or local edge servers. This proximity to data at its source can deliver strong business benefits, including faster insights, improved response times and better bandwidth availability.
The Problem: The explosive growth of IoT devices has resulted in unprecedented volumes of data. And data volumes continue to grow as 5G networks increase the number of connected mobile devices. Sending all device-generated data to a centralized data center or to the cloud causes bandwidth and latency issues.
The Solution: SLICE offers a more efficient alternative with a Unified Management Platform with WiSNET. Because data does not traverse over a network to a cloud or data center to be processed, latency is reduced. Mobile edge computing on 5G networks—enables faster and more comprehensive data analysis, creating the opportunity for deeper insights, faster response times and improved customer experiences.
Private Networks (DAS/5G/CBRS/Small Cells)
The digital landscape is constantly evolving, and at SLICE Wireless Solutions, we're committed to being at the forefront of technological advancements. Our dedication to delivering cutting-edge connectivity is exemplified in our work with 5G and Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) technologies. SLICE partnerships with carriers and technology providers like T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon guarantee a dependable solution for our clients.
SLICE has deployed private wireless networks at various airports using LoRaWAN, CBRE/Private LTE. We maintain a private wireless network for AT&T, which is an Ericsson CRAN-based small cell network that covers parts of the parking garages and the access and departure roadways. We have designed, built, and now operate private networks for Spirit Airlines, Atmosphere TV, and Clear Channel, as well as a private IoT network for Smart Restrooms and Passenger Flow, and Dwell Time Analytics.
